Household Choreography, 2026
Household Choreography interrogates the subtle violence of gendered expectation in private life. Through fragmented, layered images, the series positions women as both performers and supports within the home graceful, yet under pressure. The collages reveal how domesticity can romanticize control, invisibilize labor, and aestheticize confinement. Ultimately, the work challenges viewers to reconsider what freedom looks like inside spaces that are meant to be “safe.”
